Cancellation and Refund Policy

Last updated: 9 August 2026

This policy explains how cancellation and refunds work for the Orbis Salon platform and related services. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

1. Subscription cancellation

You can cancel your subscription in line with your plan. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current billing period unless stated otherwise or required by law.

2. Monthly plans

Monthly plans renew each month until cancelled. When you cancel, your plan generally remains active until the end of the current paid month, after which it will not renew.

3. Annual plans

Annual plans are paid in advance for the year. Refunds for the unused portion of an annual plan are discretionary unless required by law.

4. Free trials

If a free trial is offered, you can cancel before it ends to avoid being charged. If you continue after the trial, subscription charges apply.

5. Renewal dates

Your renewal date is based on when your paid subscription started. It is your responsibility to cancel before renewal if you do not wish to continue.

6. Refunds — general

  • There is no automatic refund for an unused part of a month unless stated otherwise.
  • Annual refunds are discretionary unless required by law.
  • SMS bundle charges are generally not refundable once purchased or used.
  • Domain registration fees are non-refundable.
  • Custom setup, design or build work is non-refundable once started.
  • App store / developer account fees are not refundable by Orbis.
  • Third-party fees are non-refundable.

6a. Booking fees

Where a booking fee has been applied to an online booking (for example on Lite or Flex plans), the fee may be refundable or non-refundable depending on the circumstances of the booking, the applicable plan and settings, and any legal requirements. Booking fee refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Payments the salon takes from its own customers

Deposits and card payments taken by a salon from its end customers are a matter between the salon and its customer. Orbis is not responsible for a salon's own refund, cancellation or no-show policy towards its customers.

8. Effect of cancellation

When the Orbis Salon service is cancelled, features that depend on the platform — such as booking, the customer portal, forms, payments, analytics and website content sync — may stop working. See our Website, Domain and Hosting Terms.

9. Data export on cancellation

Data export is available only with an active subscription unless otherwise agreed. See our Data Retention and Export Policy.
